The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has said there was a need for recovery and management of stolen assets in the country by relevant agencies.
He made this known at the inauguration ceremony of the inter-ministerial committee on the disposal of federal government forfeited assets on Monday in Abuja.
Malami asked the committee to work as a formidable team with relevant agencies in accordance with extant laws and regulations.

The committee headed by the solicitor general of the Federation, Dayo Apata, is expected to ensure the transparency of the disposal of the federal government’s final forfeited assets and respond to any ongoing asset management audit.
