Residents of Kogi State have appealed to the three tiers of Government in Nigeria to invest massively in agriculture to boost food security in the Country.

Speaking to ait.live on their expectations in the year 2025, they decried the untold hardship Nigerians faced in 2024 which led to several individuals losing their loved ones.

The hardship experienced by Nigerians in 2024 as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy still remains fresh in the minds of most Nigerians.

Some Kogi residents said the year 2024 was the most devastating in Nigeria’s political history and therefore want the government to come up with policies that are favorable to the people.

They also say there is the need for government to regulate the prices of goods and services to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians.

The supervisory priest of St. Peter Anglican Church, Felele, Rev. Kayode Salami, called on Nigerians to be strong in their prayers to God for a greater Nigeria.

Other residents, however, expressed hope that God in His infinite mercy will come to the rescue of Nigerians in the year 2025.
