Ahead of the general election scheduled to hold in twenty Twenty three, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Edo state command says it has started intensive training of its personnel to enable them perform their duties effectively before, during and after the election.
The training with the theme, Effective Participation of NSCDC Personnel In The 2023 General Election, encompasses the functions and roles of NSCDC operatives on election duties geared towards a free fair and credible general election next year.
The desire for the Nigerian security and civil defence corps to achieve a free and fair conduct of the twenty twenty three general election no doubt needs planning and strategies.
The Edo state command of the corps in this regard is training its officers to understand the processes of the election in order to perform their functions effectively and ensure a peaceful environment throughout the stages of the election.
