Dignitaries and delegates to the 2026 All Progressives Congress have started arriving the Eagle Square Arena in Abuja.
Members of the Federal Executive Council, serving members of the National Assembly are among those who have arrived.
The Eagle Square Arena is exquisitely draped in the colours of the party and all seem set for the event that will usher party activities for the 2027 General Elections.
New members of the National Working Committee are expected to emerge today though there are strong indications that the 30 members of the NWC will return by consensus.

This NWC members will leverage on the party’s insistence on continuity and retention of the party’s zoning formula.
Decisions of organs of the party including the National Executive Committee that met in December will also get the nod of the Convention.
The convention will also make amendment to some sections of the party Constitution if necessary. It is also expected to put foward policy guideline for the party.
