They also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for the BVAS upgrade, which they say has been instrumental in Curbing voter impersonation, and ensuring credible elections.
As residents of the Federal Capital Territory prepare for the polls on Saturday, February 21, 2026, residents have been urged to come out and exercise their right to vote.
The Team Lead, Centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA), Faith Nwadishi, at a press conference in Abuja tasked Journalists on factual reportage.

Nwadishi also encouraged media practitioners to promote transparency in election processes.
Other stakeholders in election processes are hopeful that with the INEC’s upgrade on the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, (BVAS), credible elections are guaranteed.
The Centre for Transparency Advocacy is to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance in Nigeria, with the aim to fostering transparency and accountability in governance.
