Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has restated his determination to transform the Ahmadu Bello Stadium into an international-standard sporting facility in line with FIFA specifications.
The Governor made this known during an inspection of ongoing reconstruction and remodeling works at the stadium.
Built in 1965, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium is receiving its first major facelift in over 6 decades.
Governor Uba Sani, during the assessment tour, assured that the project, scheduled for completion in 10 months, will restore the stadium’s relevance and boost sports tourism in the State.
The Governor also inspected the Keke–Danbushiya asphalt road project in Millennium city, where he noted that the road will open new economic corridors, improve access, and ease traffic congestion in one of Kaduna’s fastest-growing communities.
Governor Sani added that the interventions underscore his administration’s resolve to position Kaduna as a hub for sports, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
ait.live quotes State government officials as saying that with the different projects advancing steadily, residents of the State will soon begin to feel the direct impacts of the infrastructure investments and good intentions of the Governor Uba Sani administration in their daily lives.
