The Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, says it is investigating the cause of the crash involving HS25 Helicopter which skits into the bush near the runway of Ibadan Airport Friday night.
The minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu was on board with some of his aides when the flight had difficulties landing and eventually crash-landed in a bush near the runway.

The media adviser to the minister Tunji Bolaji who spoke with ait.live on the phone could not Immediately confirm the report while the minister’s phone was said to have been switched off at the time.
Aviation officials also do not want to speak about the incident other than that an investigation will be carried out to unravel the remote cause.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports have it that the minister Adebayo Adelabu would be addressing the Media on the matter.
