The Accident Investigation Bureau Nigeria, AIB-N says it has submitted the preliminary report on the Nigeria Airforce aircraft that crashed near kaduna International Airport while conveying the late chief of army staff, Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others last year.
Addressing Journalists at the presentation of three Accident reports in Abuja, the chief security officer and managing director of the Bureau, Akin Olateru explained that the report was forwarded to the Military in July 2021 and is yet to generate response from the military authority.
The Bureau chief also released 4 accident reports including a quorum helicopter crash which was the only fatal accident in the country in the last five years.

He further stated that the Bureau has, so far, released a total of 232 Safety Recommendations since 2007, 151 of which were released by his administration from 2017 till date.
