The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG incharge of Zone 6 Usman Gomna, has advised all police formations under his command to cultivate a good working relationship with the Civil populace, that will enable them get useful information for effective and efficient job delivery.
The AIG made this known during a one year remembrance prayer organised for the late Commissioner of Police , CP Abdulkadir Olanrewaju Jimoh who died in active service in Càlabar, the Cross River State Capital.

The prayer which was conducted shortly after the weekly Jummat prayer by the Chief Imam of the Mopol Eleven Central Mosque, Awwal Abdulkareem, also reminded Muslim faithful on how they will account for their deeds and the need for them to fear Allah in anything they do.
Some of the officers who worked under the late Cross River Commissioner of Police said one years after, his legacy in training and human Capital development still live with them and the Command which others should emulate.
The Late Commissioner of Police, Abdulkadir Olanrewaju Jimoh died in December 2021 in active service, and the Muslim community in the police command organised prayers in his honour.
