Airline Operations in Port Harcourt gets a boost with the inauguration of new facility

The acting Director General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Chris Najomo says the newly built facility of the regulatory agency in Port Harcourt is aimed at enhancing oversight, improve response time and strengthen collaboration with airlines operators, and other aviation stakeholders in the south south region.

Captain Chris Najomo stated this during the commissioning of the state-of-the-art Port Harcourt regional office at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, Rivers State.

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, as the regulatory body for aviation in Nigeria, ensures that Safety and airline operational standards are maintained with the completion of a new office.
Inaugurating the newly built edifice, the acting Director General, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Chris Najomo says the facility embodies the agency’s resolve to decentralize operations and bring services closer to stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow of communication and operations within the region.

Aviation Stakeholders and Management of NCAA commended the Acting director for his vision in ensuring the completion of the building abandoned by successive Management and Government.

The regulatory body urged all stakeholders to continue to work with it in shaping the future of aviation in Nigeria and making the skies safer and efficient for all users.
