Nigeria’s premier private broadcaster, Africa Independent Television, AIT, is marking twenty-nine years of consistent service in the nation’s media landscape.
And what better way to celebrate this than this special thanksgiving service which held at the Catholic Church of the Assumption in Asokoro Abuja
It’s a day of reflections, gratitude, and thanksgiving as management and staff of DAAR Communications Plc, assembled together to celebrate 29 years of broadcasting resilience, and innovation at the Catholic Church of the Assumption in Asokoro.
For many who have been part of the journey, this anniversary is more than a date on the calendar; it is a reminder of how far private broadcasting has traveled in Nigeria and the role of AIT in giving a voice to ordinary Nigerian citizens.
From humble beginnings in the mid-90s, AIT founded by the late Raymond Dokpesi grew to become the largest privately operated terrestrial television network with stations across Nigeria.
The management says the journey has been one of dedication, sacrifice and constant evolution, all driven by a commitment to give Nigerians a platform to tell their own stories and be a part of shaping their country’s history
At 29, AIT says it is ready for the next chapter, one anchored on innovation and a renewed pledge to serve its audience better in the digital era
And for the younger generation of staff, AIT is more than a workplace, it is a platform of growth, discovery, and purpose.
