Ondo Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa

Ondo state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa says he is focused on people-oriented governance through strategic infrastructure development.

Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the assurance while commissioning the rehabilitated and asphalt overlay of Stadium/Hospital Road in Ondo City, Ondo West Local Government Area to kick start activities marking his first 100 days in office.

While being Sworn-in as the 5th Elected Governor of Ondo state on February 24, 2025,Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa made several promises to the people of the sunshine state.

In fulfilling part of these electoral promises with just One hundred days in office, Governor Aiyedatiwa commissioned the reconstructed road which serves as a major access route to key healthcare institutions including the General Hospital and the State University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex in Ondo town.

Governor Aiyedatiwa in his remarks said the project was not only a response to infrastructure decay but also a deliberate intervention in support of the state’s healthcare delivery system.

For the residents of the community,The reconstruction of the road will ease the daily hardship faced by residents occasioned by the deplorable condition of the road networks.

This is one of many projects that will be commissioned by Governor Aiyedatiwa to celebrate his 100 days of Governance in Ondo state.
