Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno and the Mayor, London Borough of Southwark, Michael Situ have entered into a partnership for a student exchange program.
The partnership was signed when Governor Eno received in audience Mayor Situ in Government House, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

While receiving the Mayor, London Borough of Southwark ,Michael Situ, Governor Umo Eno lauded his visit as a commitment to the exchange program. Governor Eno stated that the program was to benefit Akwa Ibom children through overseas exposure.
While commending his Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong for running with the vision, the Governor justified funding for the program.
Mayor Situ applauded the Akwa Ibom state government and the people for their ingenuity and steps taken to concretise the partnership as schools in his Borough were excited about it.
A proposal for a forum where Akwa Ibom businesses and those from Southwark would meet and interact was also discussed.
