Akwa Ibom state governor, Udom Emmanuel has charged the people of the state to honour this season of love by meditating on Christ’s message of God’s steadfast love, tender mercies, and saving grace, which has brought hope and joy to the world.
Governor Emmanuel who gave the charge in his Christmas and New Year message to the people asked them to resolve to love one another.
Governor Emmanuel said love for one another should be the key factor at the yuletide.
Governor Emmanuel noted that even though the year 2020 had been turbulent; the people should be thankful to God for mercies.

He said despite the pandemic ridden year; his administration was able to achieve much on its completion agenda.
He asked the people to look forward to a better 2021 as he will continue to deliver on his mandate.
