The Akwa Ibom State Government said it has achieved 92% electrification of all gazetted villages in the state.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong made this known in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital at the end of the State Executive Council meeting .
The meeting was the last State Executive Council meeting for the year and a lot of issues and reports were deliberated upon.
Ememobong presented an appraisal of the performance of the state in Secondary School Certificate Examinations.
He noted that the State Government puts serious premium on the issues of COVID 19 and street trading in the State capital.
The Governor also swore in Justices Eme Ekong and Effiong Effiong as the latest additions to the State Judiciary as high court judges.
