The Akwa Ibom State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Samuel Fadeyi, wants members of the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.
Fadeyi said this in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital while parading two suspects arrested for concealing illegally refined automotive gas oil, A-G-O, otherwise known as diesel in a truck loaded with packs of yogurt drink.
The two suspects met their waterloo thanks to the vigilance of men of the NSCDC, according to the Akwa Ibom State Commandant of the corps, Fadeyi.

Fadeyi expressed concern about the health implications of the criminal act. He noted that the corps was already making giant strides under its new helmsman, Ahmed Audi.
This is the second of such seizures within the last two months and according to the commandant the last set of suspects were charged to court and convicted with a five-year jail term to boot.
