Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel has charged the newly appointed Acting Chief Judge of the State, Ekaette Obot to ensure speedy dispensation of justice in the state.
Governor Emmanuel gave the charge at the swearing in of the Chief Judge at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s office in Uyo, the state capital.

The Governor while performing the swearing in wants her to ensure improved service delivery in the judiciary.

Governor Emmanuel said that the autonomy of the judiciary in the state has never been an issue and assured the arm of government of his continued support.
With the oaths of office and allegiance, Justice Ekaette Obot becomes the 3rd female Chief Judge of the state and takes over from Justice Godwin Abraham retired recently from service.
