The Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi the third has advocated true federalism as panacea to the present security challenges in Nigeria.
The paramount ruler made the remarks at the launching of the compendium of judgements delivered by retired Justice Afolabi Adeniran in Ibadan.
It was an opportunity for Nigerians to take another critical appraisal of the present issues of insecurity in Nigeria, and like many others the continued threat to lives and property that is now almost on daily basis.
Recent attacks on some correctional centres across the nation including Oyo State, also attracted comments from the concerned Nigerians.
On his contribution to the legal profession, some of the guests applauded the role prayed by Justice Adeniran during his reign as former Chief judge of the Oyo State Judiciary in deepening democracy in the state.

Stakeholders however agreed that the challenges of insecurity must be tackled holistically if the fight against all forms of centrifugal forces is to be won in Nigeria.
