South West Union of Albinos has appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to provide adequate aids for its members to participate in Saturday’s Ekiti State Governorship election.
The call was made on Monday in Ado Ekiti, the state capital at an event to mark the celebration of 2022 World Albino Day.
They decried the high level of discrimination, non-availability of jobs and government’s attitude to the plight of people living with albinism.
While calling on government at all levels to come to their aid, they also want an end to discrimination in the society.
