….Says President Tinubu’s reforms insulate Nigeria from the health financing volatility experienced n most developing Nations
Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate says that while major global health financing reductions from western governments have impacted developing nations disproportionately.
President Bola Tinubu’s aggressive mobilization of domestic resources to bridge funding gaps has assured access to lifesaving medications and health services for Nigerians.

Citing President Tinubu’s $200 million contribution to HIV/AIDS treatment for Nigerians, Prof. Pate noted that while Nigeria’s new engagements for sustainable health partnership with the United States Government have reached an advanced stage, President Tinubu’s effective health sector programming in the face of global uncertainties has positioned Nigeria as a leading continental voice in the advocacy for win-win partnerships built on trade, economic growth, and workforce longevity for citizens across the global south.

The Coordinating Minister made this known at an interactive session with Parliamentarians of the European Union at the EU Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.
