The Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Nicodemus Nombor as Rector of Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, Yandev, with immediate effect.
A statement by the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Media Publicity and Strategic Communication Solomon Iorpev says the Governor charged him to utilize his wealth of experience in his new role and discharge his duties with utmost responsibility.
Nombor, who holds a Doctorate in Animal Science/Production, has served in several capacities in different institutions and workplaces, including the College of Education, Katsina-Ala, where he served as Head of the Department of Agricultural Education and was a member of the Academic Board.
Prior to his appointment Nombor was a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Animal Health and Production Technology, Akperan Orshi Polytechnic, Yandev, and had served in various capacities, including Dean, School of Animal Technology, under the then College of Agriculture, Yandev.
Nicodemus Terkaa Nombor, who hails from Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, is married with children.
