Delta state government says, all is set for the resumption of SS3 students across the state.

Delta state commissioner for basic and secondary education, Patrick Uka made this known while addressing journalists in Asaba.

He said the arrangements were strictly in line with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC protocol.

The distribution of materials for the takeoff of the schools resumption for the SS3 students in Delta State took place at the model secondary school Asaba, under the supervision of officials from the ministry of education.

Representatives of participating schools simultaneously took delivery of their consignments, including the private schools, though their take was limited.

According to Ukah, the arrangements include having only 20 students per class, the provision of different ranges of storage tanks with weekly water supply, liquid soap, sanitizer, free facemask to the students and teachers, thermometers, towel and sick bay.

Each student is expected to fill a medical form to enable officials identify those with underlying illness.

Records show that 29,525 SS3 students in Delta State will participate in the examination.
