Alleged Abuse Of Minor: NAPTIP Summons Nigerian Singer Speed Darlington

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons NAPTIP has asked Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye “Speed Darlington” to unfailingly appear at its national headquarters in Abuja on Friday May 30th 2025 by 9am.

The agency says Speed Darlington has questions to answer regarding a viral Instagram live video he made admitting to have sexually assaulted a 15 year old girl.

NAPTIP in a letter to the singer dated May 28th noted that his actions if substantiated violates the trafficking in Persons Prohibition Enforcement and Administration Act 2015.

The alleged abuse of the minor also violates the Cybercrime Prohibition and Prevention Act 2015.
