Five men have been arrested in Ekiti State by operatives of Western Nigera Security network for allegedly defrauding an Ogun State based trader.
The commandant of Amotekun in the state, Akomolafe Joe disclosed the latest arrest to newsmen in Ado Ekiti while giving updates on the activities of the corps in the state.

The five suspected fraudsters were arrested in Ikere Ekiti for defrauding an Ogun State based trader of two million, seven hundred thousand Naira.

The Commandant of Amotekun corps in Ekiti state Brigadier Joe Akomolafe said the Suspects were arrested following intelligence report on their activities at a shrine in ikere Ekiti just ten kilometers from the state capital.
Following the arrest of the suspects , the victim, one Godfrey Abimbola narrated his ordeal.
one of the suspects Abayomi Kunle confessed his involvement in the scheme and said he regretted his actions.
The Amotekun commandant said all suspects would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations .
