The Commander of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, Adetunji Adeleye, has reassured residents that the Agency remains committed to ensuring a peaceful and safe festive season across all 18 Local Government Areas of the State.
Adeleye stated this on Thursday while parading 20 suspected criminals arrested for various offences in several parts of Ondo State.
According to him, the steady decline in criminal activities is linked to multiple intensified security operations ahead of the Yuletide.
He added that border security has been reinforced at key entry points, with patrol vehicles now operating round the clock.
The Amotekun Corps Commander listed the offences of the suspects to include; attempted murder, rape, armed robbery, theft, and fraud.
The suspects have since denied roles in their alleged respective offences, even as personnel of the security outfit told ait.live that investigators are still ongoing.
