Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun has paraded Twenty seven suspected criminals arrested for various offences across the state within two weeks.
The state Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, while parading the suspects at the Command’s headquarters, in Akure attributed their success to the establishment of additional six control points within the state forests to counter activities of criminals terrorising residents.
Adeleye explained that the establishment of the specialised unit within the Amotekun Corps called “Amot Rangers” has led to reduction in herders/farmers clashes in the Northern senatorial district amongst other crimes in the state.

The Amotekun commander said among the 27 suspects arrested include three young farmers who specialise in kidnapping travellers and a member of
a syndicate that devise special means of dispossessing innocent motorcycle riders of their motorcycles and kill them.
Other suspects paraded include violators of anti-Open Grazing Law, suspected Armed robbers and another for burglary.
