Operatives of the Ondo State security network, code-named Amotekun, have rescued nine of the twelve victims abducted by some bandits in the state on Wednesday.
The Commandant of the Corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye confirmed the development to our correspondent on phone, Thursday evening.

Adeleye said the victims were rescued after his men responded to a distress call from concerned citizens.
He said his men are still combing the forest to rescue the three remaining victims still in the custody of the abductors.
Recall that the passengers heading from Abuja to Lagos in an 18 seater bus, were attacked by the armed men between Idoani- Ifira axis, in Akoko Southeast Local Government Area of the state.
