The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has raised alarm over an alleged plan by the APC- led Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in Anambra State ahead of the November 6 governorship election.
The party said the reported move is a ploy by the APC to suppress the people’s wish by manipulating and rigging the election in the state.

In a statement released by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, the party insisted the Federal Government has the capacity to ensure peace in the state before during and after Election.
The PDP also wants the APC to ‘come clean’ on its role in the sudden rise of insecurity in Anambra State.
