The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has adopted the Indirect mode for the Anambra State Governorship Primary scheduled to hold on April 5, 2025.
National Secretary of the Party, Surajudeen Ajibola said the decision was reached at a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Thursday in Abuja.
A meeting of the Party stakeholders, including State Working Committee (SWC), State Caucus and the Aspirants will hold in Abuja to carry along all those involved in the election process.
The decision of the NWC is expected to raise dust in the Party as the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State had rejected attempts to impose Indirect Primaries on the Party ahead of the governorship election.
The Anambra State chapter of APC in a Press Release on Tuesday said such plot will encourage corruption and manipulation.
