A Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Obiora Okonkwo has reassured that he will ensure the State capital, Awka is transformed into a modern city if voted into office in November 2021 election.
The PDP aspirant made the pledge when he met party leaders, executives, and statutory delegates in Awka South Council Area, ahead of the coming primary election.

The meeting was at the venue of the traditional marriage of the son of one of his campaign managers, Benjamin Okoye in Umuokpu, Awka South Council Area.
