In Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria, the re-run election in the affected two Federal constituencies witnessed low turnout of voters in most parts visited by ait.live
The exercise was however peaceful with high presence of security operatives in the Nnewi North and Orumba North Local Government Areas.
From the records of INEC officials at Polling unit 014 located in Nanka High school, only 107 were accredited and voted out of the 488 registered voters, when ait.live crew monitoring the election visited.

The poor turn out of voters appeared the same in several of the sixteen polling units of Nanka Ward 1 in Orumba North where election took place.
Some of the electorate who spoke behind camera blamed the situation on lack of confidence in the Nigerian electoral processes, yet a few others applauded INEC for a peaceful conduct of the exercise.
The heavy presence of security operatives in and around voting areas in the Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency election, perhaps provided the needed peaceful environment for the re-run exercise.
The re-run elections in both the Orumba North/South Federal constituency and that of Nnewi North/South/Ekwusigo Federal constituency came after the Court of Appeal in Lagos, voided results of the February 2023 polls in some affected polling units of the two constituencies.
