The Paramount Traditional Ruler of Doma Local Government Area, the Andoma of Doma, HRH Aliyu Ogah, has tasked Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, not to relent in ensuring physical development across all the local government and development areas of the state.

The Emir who gave the charge when he hosted the Governor in his palace in Doma, as part of activities marking the second year anniversary of Governor Sule’s administration urged the incumbent governor to surpass the development strides of his immediate past predecessor, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, by opening up the LGs and development areas, through the construction of roads and hospitals.

The Andoma of Doma added that the development strides of Governo Sule’s administration will be the selling point of his party in 2023.

The attention of the Governor was drawn to the persistent conflicts at the boundary between Nasarawa and Benue state, adding that the Idadu/Agbashi road, when completed, will address most of the challenges along with the border areas.

Governor Sule in response commended traditional rulers in the state, especially the Andoma, for their role in ensuring peace and security in the state.

The Governor acknowledged that there are challenges, especially along the boundary with Benue State, but assured that those disturbing the peace in the area will also face the full weight of the law

The Governor pointed out that Doma Local Government Area holds great potentials and his administration will explore and exploit the potentials for the benefit of all.
