There was tensed atmosphere, as angry youths have set ablaze a Divisional police Headquarters, at Isinweke in Ihitte Uboma Council Area, of Imo State, following an alleged killing of a youth by an unidentified trigger happy police Officer.
AIT.LIVE gathered that two Police officers also sustained injuries from machete attack in the incident.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the Imo State Police Command Orlando Ikeokwu, confirmed the incident.
According to him the policemen who went for an arrest in the area were attacked by the youths, who. injured the police officers and freed a suspect.

Ikeokwu said that the officers who in a bid to protect themselves from being lynched, fire his and stray bullet hits the youngster who later died in a hospital.
Ikeokwu however noted that more policemen had been deployed to the station, adding that the state Commissioner of police, Nasiru Muhammed, has also ordered investigation into the matter as normalcy has since returned to the area.
