Students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the Anti-sexual Harassment Bill into law.
The respondents say, doing so, will reduce the sexual harassment of students in tertiary educational institutions.
This has become one of the most discussed forms of violence in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
While males and females have reportedly been victims, the females are often the most affected.

Professor Muhammad Abdulkadir, a lecturer at Kano University Of Science And Technology, said tertiary institutions must have zero tolerance for sexual harassment, and any lecturer caught in the act, should not be shielded.
A survey conducted in 2018 by the World Bank, reveals that 70 per cent of female graduates from Nigerian tertiary institutions have been sexually harassed in school, with the main perpetrators being classmates or lecturers.
