The Mai Mala Buni led Caretaker and Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday said it has concluded plans to set up a Planning and Budget Committee for its 2022 National Convention.
Secretary of the Committee, John Akpan Udoedehe made this known at the end of CECPC meeting in Abuja.
He however did not state the date for the Convention.
The announcement by Udoedehe has fueled fresh anxieties that the much awaited convention may not hold in February as initially planned.
President Muhammadu Buhari at a meeting with some party leaders had reached a consensus that the convention should hold in February 2022.
