The All Progressives Congress has replaced Imo state Governor as Chairman of the National Convention Committee ahead of the March 27 and 28 2026 Convention.

A note accompanying the new National Convention Central coordination committe signed by national secretary of the party Ajibola Basiru explained that the changes to its leadership and membership is based on zoning exigencies.
