The number of aspirants for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Primary may have been prined to five, hours to the special convention.
Information reaching ait live says Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Chibuike Amechi, Bola Tinubu, Dave Umahi and Kayode Fayemi are the names put foward before the President after a marathon meetings that lasted till Tuesday morning.
Present at the crucial meetings were top All Progressives Congress officials and other stakeholders.
There are strong indication on Tuesday that the Governors have agreed to eventually put up one person, describing the process as a “unity list” rather than “consensus candidate”.
