The National Secretary of the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress John Akpanudoedehe reappeared at the party headquarters on Tuesday maintaining that the Mai Mala Buni led Committee is still in charge of the party and preparations for the national convention.
Akpanudoedehe has not been seen in recent meetings convened by the Abubakar Bello led Committee..

While thanking the Independent National Electoral Commission for what he described as firm guidance in the entire circumstances, Akpanudoedehe said the party has engaged a team of senior lawyers to address a court order halting the planned National Convention.
He appealed to the Judiciary to give the matter the needed and expedient attention to allow for the conduct of the convention as scheduled.
He maintained that the party is crisis-free, strong and remains united in giving the country the transformative leadership and good governance which it promised.
