The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Gov Mai Mala Buni has denied approving a letter suspending activities initiated and executed by the committee’s acting chairman, Gov. Abubakar Bello.

But Gov Buni said he endorsed all decisions reached in his absence by the Bello led Committee and advised all party stakeholders to disregard a previous statement by the suspended national secretary of the party, John Akpanudoedehe.
Akpanudoedehe had in a statement on Wednesday night called for cancellation of the National Executive Committee meeting of the party; a decision he alleged to have been authorised by the Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai Mala Buni.
