Barely four days after the conduct of the state Congress of the APC in Ekiti State, another group under the aegis of South west Agenda on Thursday inaugurated a parallel local government and ward executives.
The group led by a former minister of state for works, Sen Adedayo Adeyeye said his group remains the authentic executive of the APC in Ekiti state.
The group called on all members of the party in Ekiti state to come unite and move the party forward.

Adeyeye noted that the action of the South West agenda, to conduct party congress in Ekiti is in compliance to the directive of the national caretaker committee, and failure of the other faction of the party in the state to properly conduct it’s congress in line with due process as prescribed by the APC guidelines.
