The All Progressives Congress has fixed its National Executive Committee Meeting for July 11 2023.
According to a statement on the Party’s Twitter handle, signed by its National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, the Party’s National Caucus Meeting will precede the NEC meeting on July 10.
According to the Party’s Constitution, the President of Nigeria and the Vice-President, principal officers of the National Assembly who are members of the party, state Chairmen and National executive members of the party among other are members of the National Executive Committee.

The National Executive Committee of the party met last on April 20, 2022 to consider the time-table for party primaries and other election related matters.
The inability of the current leadership of the party to organise a NEC meeting for a year has generated tension, not only within the party, but also among the hierarchy of the National Working Committee.
