State Governors of the All Progressives Congress, APC have endorsed the proposed Congresses and National Convention of the party slated for March 2026.
In a communique issued at a strategic meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, PGF and members of the National Working Committee, NWC held at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, Chairman of Forum and Imo State Governor called for transparency in the conduct of the exercise.
For Nigerian political actors, the clock is ticking. As the 2027 election draws closer, it is time to strategise for the task ahead. The assignment prompted the meeting of the APC Governors and another big organ of the party- the NWC to brainstorm on the task ahead.
For them, the congresses and the National Convention remains the roadmap to the next level.
The current e-registration drew accolades from the party stakeholders and is expected to strengthen grassroot engagement.
The APC Governors pledged their commitment to unity, stability and cohesion within the fold in the interest of the party.
