Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC are voting in the party’s direct primaries to nominate a candidate for the July 16 Governorship election.
Security personnel mostly the police have been on ground to conduct physical search on every member before allowing them into venues of the primaries across the council wards to ensure orderliness and safety.
Accreditation started at about 9am in most centres while voting commenced by 12pm.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola who is seeking to fly the party’s flag for his reelection joined the queue to be counted in the primaries at about 12.29pm.
