The Abubakar Bello led Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress has passed a vote of no confidence on the party’s National Secretary, John Akpanudoedehe barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari gave backing to the Mai Mala Buni led Caretaker Committee.

In a statement signed by the acting chairman, Gov. Abubakar Bello and nine other members, the committee endorsed the sack of the National Secretary asking that he “steps aside and stop forthwith all activities and duties associated with the office”
