As the build-up to the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC gathers momentum, youths in the party are calling for level playing field to allow aspirants with the requisite knowledge and credentials emerge as the party’s new National Chairman.
Addressing the media in Abuja on Tuesday, the APC Zonal Youth Leader of Benue North West Senatorial District, Asor Jeremiah described the leadership crisis in the party as a deciding moment that will help in repositioning the party for the 2023 general elections.

The group pledged support for the candidature of the detribalised politician who has demonstrated capacity, wisdom and commitment to the unity and development of the APC and Nigeria in the person of the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, George Akume.
They called on President Muhammadu Buhari and all organs of the party to ensure the emergence of a party chairman who enjoys the acceptance of all the tendencies, interests and ordinary members of the party across the country
