Members of the All Progressive Congress APC in Cross River have matched into the street of Calabar, the Cross River State Capital over the nomination of Comrade Asu Okang, a PDP Member as the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC State representative by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Protesting youths of the party moved with placards from the party’s secretariat to NDDC office along Murtala Muhammad highway where they ordered all the staff out of the building and locked the gate.

Addressing the protesting youth, Chairman of APC in Cross River State, Alphonsus Eba, and the party’s youth representative, Ekpenyong Akiba, said the state says no to the nominee,describing it as an affront on the party.
Asu Okang was a Commissioner for Information under the PDP government in Ayade’s administration, who refused to move to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC,when former Governor decamped with his executive Council members.
