The All Progressives Congress, APC has expressed concerns over the poor response of party members in the e-membership exercise.
Party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman made the observation at a workshop for all state Party Chairmen to sensitise them on the initiative.
Following the abysmal outcome of the e-registration exercise, the party has taken drastic steps to address the loopholes.
The ruling party has also made it clear that being a registered voter by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC remains a prerequisite for party membership.
APC National Vice-Chairman (North Central), Muazu Rijau says the leadership of the party places great importance on the e-registration initiative saying the party believes that for the APC to remain a truly progressive and people-oriented party, it must embrace digital transformation.
