All Progressives Congress Aspirants of South East extraction have agreed to align with any contender from the zone accepted by the. party ahead of the 2023 election.
The decision was reached today at a meeting held in Abuja.
Those present at the meeting are Former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu, Former Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, former Minister of state for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba and Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi.

Other APC Aspirants present at the meeting are the only APC female presidential aspirant, Uju Ken Ohanenye, former Senate President Ken Nnamani and Chief Molukwu.
A communique by the group commended the commitment of Nigerians to the aspiration of the south east to produce the next President of Nigeria in 2023.
