The All Progressives Congress,, APC in Enugu State, South-East Nigeria has expelled some of the party’s bigwigs including former President of the Senate, Ken Nnamani and former Governor, Sullivan Chime, among others.
The Ugo Agballah-led State Executive of the APC equally placed the serving Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama on indefinite suspension, accusing them of alleged anti-party activities during the last general election.

Chairman of the APC State Disciplinary and Fact Finding Committee, Robert Ngwu who read out recommendations at a news briefing in Enugu, Thursday says the punishments were as provided in the party’s constitution.
Also affected by the disciplinary action is the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu; former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Eugene Odoh, and a host of other chieftains of the party.
None of the party leaders said to have either been expelled or suspended, have reacted to the development.
