The All Progressives Congress, APC in Taraba State, North-East Nigeria has suspended the Taraba South Senator-elect, Jimkuta David, over allegations bordering on offences that breach the constitution of the party.
The party also expelled one of the 223 Governorship aspirants, David Kente, and cautioned him to stop parading himself as a member of the party in any capacity. Kente was embroiled in legal battles with the party’s Governorship candidate in the just concluded election, Emmanuel Bwacha.

The State Party Chairman, Ibrahim Elsudi says, the disciplinary actions against the two chieftains were taken from their wards and local government party levels, and affirmed by the State Executive Council.
APC also condoled the State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on the death of the Member-elect for Jalingo-Zing-Yorro Federal Constituency, describing his demise as a great loss to the people of Taraba State.
